Why I Created this Practice

My very first 40-day practice was part of my Kundalini Yoga immersion.

I’ll be honest… I wasn’t expecting such a simple practice to have such a lasting impact.

It wasn’t about mastering the meditation. It wasn’t about getting it perfect. It was about making one small commitment to myself every single day.

As the days passed, something unexpected happened. I stopped negotiating with myself. I stopped breaking the little promises I made to myself. I began to trust myself more.

By the end of the forty days, I didn’t want the practice to end. I was surprised by how much I missed it once it was over.

That’s when I knew I wanted to share this experience with others.

This self-paced practice is the same one I guided my first group through, now available for you to begin whenever the time feels right.

You don't need to know anything about Kundalini Yoga to do this.

A Kriya is a specific practice designed to create a shift in your body, mind, and energy. It's not a workout. It's not sitting in silence hoping for peace. It's an intentional combination of sound, breath, and movement that does something real inside you.

Kirtan Kriya is a chanting meditation using four sounds: Sa Ta Na Ma.

Sa is birth.
Ta is life.
Na is death.
Ma is rebirth.

The full cycle of creation in four sounds. You chant them while pressing your thumb to each fingertip in sequence. That's it. That's the whole practice.

It is one of the most researched meditations in the world. Scientists have studied it for memory, focus, stress, and emotional clarity. It balances both hemispheres of your brain. It clears what's stuck. And it has been practiced for thousands of years for one reason: it works.

Why 3 Minutes?

In Kundalini Yoga, Kirtan Kriya is practiced at specific time intervals: 3 minutes, 11 minutes, 22 minutes, or 31 minutes. Each one does something different. 3 minutes is where it begins. It shifts your electromagnetic field and starts to work on your mood and your mind. It's the perfect entry point. Short enough that you will never be able to talk yourself out of it. Long enough that something real happens inside you.
